Here is a quick look into how I make things... I put immense energy into hand making my work from very basic materials. I create everything from start to finish in my home studio located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. My hope is to make a truly unique piece for you to enjoy and cherish for years to come.

Piercing Sterling Sheet

Piercing Sterling Sheet

Very fine fretwork is accomplished all by hand using a small coping style saw and very fine toothed blade.

All these earrings are made from sheet and wire; textured, cut out by hand and soldered with care.

Gemstones!!

Gemstones!!

I choose unique, natural gemstones with interesting cuts that I hope will captivate your interest.

Statement Bangle

Statement Bangle

I rolled out the silver I used for the bangle shank, I wanted the perfect weight. All stone settings were built by hand of course and I carefully set each stone to follow.

Pizza Party

Pizza Party

Pretty much everyone's fave treat... In pendant form. I cut the "crust" from sterling silver and brass by hand and topped it off with some copper pepperoni. Yum yum!

Prong Setting

Prong Setting

I build all my settings by hand. In this case, I have fabricated a prong setting using wire and mad soldering skills. It can be tricky to gently set prongs against a stone. Too much pressure and the stone will crack; not enough and the stone will shift and be unwearable.

Casting

Casting

I have a sweet setup for casting; I can burn out objects in my kiln which have been set in a sort of "plaster" which creates a mould. I then cast molten metal into that mould using a centrifugal casting arm. This allows me to replicate anything I carve out of wax, as well as organic and plastic objects.

Cool Tools

Cool Tools

Here are some of my faves... Ye old rolling mill for making wire and textured sheet (to name a few uses). As well, I have some really great hammers and a select group of specialty pliers.

Green Onyx Ring

Green Onyx Ring

Here I have used a cast element from a succulent plant. I also fabricated all other components, including a ring shank I rolled out from scrap sterling and a setting which I hand made for the green onyx.
